okay running a 2.0tdi atm so it has 288mm front brakes, basically they are up to the job [ got a race3 remap] been tryin for ages to get 312mm brake carriers so i can stick on bigger discs. was wondering will there be a problem with the back plates or will a set of 312's go on no problem. if i cant get the carriers wld a set of brembo max discs , decent pads braided hoses & new brake fluid do the job.

You can use the S4 discs with different carriers - the calipers are the same.

No the tdi callipers are smaller than the 2.0t one's.

I don't know if you will need new shields or not, someone would ahve to check ETKA for you for the part numbers.

If you want a bit more stopping power, you could get a set of 2.0t callipers, pads, disks, and carriers. They are 320mm I think and then the S4's are 343 or something (just carriers and disks different than the 2.0t).

ok will try & check for prices of the 2.0t setup, will give gsf a shout nx wk though sometimes they just cant be ***** on the phone

standard 2.0t 321mm founds these really good for standard great stopping power
