I'm really scratching my head with this one!
I have a VERY intermittant fault on my A4 2.0tdi (170) 2006. Sounds bizarre, but temps typically above 7-8 degrees and my Engine Management Light comes on. It will stay on for say 3 to 4 days then go off, then come on again at a later date, really driving me mad!!
VAG-COM 311.2-N is throwing out the following:
1 Fault Found:
01139 - Central Locking Switch: Front Passenger Door Unlocking
006 - Short to Plus
When I clear the fault, the light goes out for maybe 24hrs then will re-appear.
Why is the Central Locking causing my Eng Mangment Light to come on????
What does the error code mean?
What's the fix - if any???
