Auto-dimming rear view mirror not working

My rear view mirror no longer works the green or red light at the bottom of the mirror is not lit, pressing the standby button also has no effect. Has anybody experienced this issue before? Any advice/help much appreciated.[/FONT]

Sounds like it isn't getting any power. Does the mirror have a dedicated fuse or could it be a wiring fault to the internal light?

Thanks for the reply Wrath...Fuse No 31 has been checked it's ok, also did a scan with VAG-COM and its showing no issues. This is really annoying me now

Completely guessing here but if the power isn't being fed to your mirror, VCDS might not pick it up. I believe the power to the mirror comes through the internal light, take the clear plastic off and I think this reveals screws for the light unit. The mirror should be connected in there, might be a loose connection.
