Adding 2 Stroke Oil to Diesel?

I know this was mentioned quite a while ago and i have been doing some research into this and am quite shocked by the results.

What i want to know is, has anyone tried this yet and notcied the results?

The best stuff i can find for the job is this Mobil Extra 2T : Semi Synthetic Two Stroke Engine Oil 1 Litre :

I've been adding two stroke Castrol oil to my 2.0 tdi 140 lump for a while. It started costing to much for me to continue but I did feel the car idled slightly quieter and felt a lot smoother. I did go a little ott with the measurements though in each tankful

Theory sounds feasible, 2t does have cleaning abilities in the right amount. Put too much in and it can have the opposite but sounds worth a try.

No mine doesent. Whats the conclusion through the 38 pages anyway? What did the universities say? I only read one page. Far to much to read!

I read every page and i read about 3 or 4 different threads/websites.

Most say its good, but if you have a dpf you need to use high quality jaso fc 2 stroke and only in small amounts.

Still not sure whether it will clog the dpf or not though!

Well try it, if it cloggs up your DPF remove and remap it ;-)
