Manual Gearbox "Clunk" or is it just engagement sound?

Afternoon all!

I've got an A4 cab Special Edition, 2008 (B7 Chassis) 2.0T with a manual gearbox. It's only done 17,000 miles but appears to make a (fairly quiet) clunk when engaging from gear to gear. Is this normal amongst manual A4's?

all min 6 speed have been smooth

No clunk on my A4 2008 cab.

No, mines smooth and at 107k.
Is it just me or do people seem to have more problems with really low mileage cars??? Maybe it's how they're used.
