Bonnet catch on A4

The bonnet on my A4 is very difficult to close properly - it took me yesterday about 6 attempts until it properly closed - does this mean the I need to have the catch replaced? Is this a costly repair?

Check your bonnet stops, they can work themselves out slightly sometimes.
Or as above, lube it up.

and if it doesnt work and you have to replace catch no more than 25pounds mate and an easy fix
