    THREAD ON MY OFFSIDE WHEELS....

    hi ppl.. would any1 know why the thread on my offside wheels are wearing more than the nearside???

    nothing seems to be wrong with the tyre pressure and traking juswt recently got goodyear tyres put on!

    By how much difference is the wear rate.

    Tracking in my opinion is not worth much , to make sure everything is spot on you need 4 wheel laser.

    I used these for many years .

    center gravity : suspension & geometry tuning
    Chris really does know his stuff .

    I had the same problem on my B6 it turned out the bearing was on the way out!
    1.8T Quattro Sport - Stock at present!

    When I read this, I thought you were referring to the threads on the wheel bolts, not the treads on the tyres.

    lol sorry my bad mate i meant treads.. its about 3mm difference compared to the nearside..

    i think il get the bearings checked first and then il do the 4 wheel laser.
