Just Broken down, awating recovery....arhhhhh!!!

Doing 80mph on the cruise control, coil light comes on, cuts out, battery light on, roll to hard shoulder.
The engine is turning but it won't fire.
Getting it recovered to Motoraid at Basildon.
They are a local german car specialists nearby.
Hoping it's not the fuel injector fault the 170 tdi suffer?

I'm afraid it does sound like the injector fault , fingers crossed its something simple .

Left the car o/s there gate with the key hidden away at 3.30am.
Just rang them to tell them its outside.
They have called me back and told me it started first turn of the key.
My first reaction is great, but if they now vagcom it and it shows nothing, I have a car with an intermittent fault which can be a nightmare!!!

A faulty coil perhaps ?? they have been known to go as well

Injector gone, not sure which one.
Getting all four done as a precaution, damage £2100.
Gone passed angree & gutted, in acceptance now.
I looked on autotrader this morning at cars, I have the car I always wanted and can't afford anything else I fancy so just getting on with it, if I don't laugh about it I will cry!

Mate have a sneak on ebay as injectors are cheap there & allot of people have used ones without an issue, will save you a bundle.
