Newbie, chrome trim round windows

Alright guys, basically ive just bought a 2006 A4 sline special edition and it has the chrome trim around the windows which im not keen on, what is the best way to remove this? what do i need to replace it with black,

oooh you're in for a world of pain trying to get rid of the chrome surrounds. Getting them off is a nightmare and putting the (very expensive to get) black trim back on (correctly) is even more of a pain.
