K04 Turbo for engine code BEB

I just found a seller selling a k04 for 1996-2003 1.8t. Don't all k04 turbos fit the 1.8t engine anyway? they said the later version had a bigger flange, so might not fit, the seller is offering a very cheap price and warrantee on it, so quite tempted.

the description was:
Compressor
Inducer: 37.5mm
Exducer: 50mm
Trim: .56

Exhaust:
Inducer: 46mm
Exducer: 42mm
Trim: 83

Bearing: Journal Bearing
Downpipe flange type : Audi/VW 1.8 T3 Bolt Standard
Cooling type: Water and Oil cool

There are a LOT of cheap knockoff chinese chocolate-spec turbos floating about, so i'd be very wary of a cheap new K04.

There are two styles of K04 used on Audis, one fits the transverse engines in the A3/TT/Golf etc, and the other type fits the Longitudinal engines in the A4/A6/Passat etc. They are not interchangeable, so you should ensure its a longitudinal turbo before buying.

The Fakes usually dont have the proper KKK/Borg Warner markings on them.
