Right, i've read up on a old post with Devonmikeyboy saying that the 2.0 tdi 140 lumps has CCV that goes straight back into the air inlet or something and so theres no need to replace them.

I was wondering whether removing it and cleaning it would be good? I need to replace my rocker cover gasket next week anyway so was thinking would it be a good preventative maintenance work to do ? Does the car have a PCV?

Thanks for any replies, good or bad.
