A4 Cab S-line front bumper

I have just bought UK 2007 A4 Cab S line 2.0 TDI from an Audi dealership. I have just noticed that at the lower part of the bumper on the left hand side around the fog lamp area there is an unprotected hole whereas on the right hand in the same area there's a blanking plate is this normal?

This is normal. My wife noticed this on our car too, but the reason it is there is for air to hit the intercooler

lol, i realised that when i was washing the car, worried about the same thing, its perfectly normal.
