Bigger brakes...Done!

Well, the brakes on my car have done my head in for ages now so I thought it was about time I did something about them.

I ordered a set of disks, callipers and carriers that had been removed from a V6 model so they were bigger than mine. Got the lot for £100 which I thought was a bargain.

Anyway, see if you can tell the difference. I think they look better...

you do realise you could have just used the carriers and disks? Saves splitting the hydraulic system etc.

Did you take the opportunity to fit some braided lines?
 
I fancy putting bigger brakes on myself, the wife has 4 pots on hers and they are class compared to my standard 1s
 
Yeah, I realised that when they arrived so I just used the standard callipers with the new carriers. Much easier than I expected it would be. After a few miles of driving I can definitely feel the difference compared to the old ones.
