Ive owned my car for neally six months and when i got it i topped up the expansion tank as it was just on the minimum line .This morning I noticed my expansion tank was just below the min line .I instantly checked the dip stick to see if there was oil contamination but fortunatly not at all.The car runs fine .Ive looked to see if there was a sign of a water leak but couldnt see anything obvious.All pips seemed dry and the only water i could see was where im pretty sure i spilt some as it was directly under the expansion tank.Has any one had this happen .I wonder if its a call for panic ? I cant think what it might be as over this lenght of time it may well be to smaller leak to detect.
