Hello all,

I have just picked up my 2007 Audi A4 Cab and am looking into retrofit some mods.

On my list so far are:

RNS-E
Cruise Control
Remote Roof

Is there any recommended retrofit experts around South London / Surrey you guys would recommend.

Later down the line, I am interested in Devil Eyes, but thats a few months away yet...

Thanks in advance...

I used Hazzy Days to have my cruise control fitted and was very happy. They fitted it at my home address, were punctual, cleaned up and i think i got value for money, what more do you want?

Link Home - Vw & Audi Sat Nav, Bluetooth , TV Tuners, Cruise Control Installations UK

They are cheaper than audi specialists such as Fontain who they apparently used to supply.
There is one chap on here that called Hazzy Days 'rip off merchants' but i have no evidence to suuport this, maybe he will add to this post at a later time.

Your other option is to source the parts yourself and find someone with vagcom to code it.
Personally i was not confident in sourcing the correct parts and wanted some form of guarantee.

I will post more info on this later as I'm on my phone and not my laptop , I already have 2 of your mods you have listed .

What head unit do you have currently installed , single or double din .

With the advice of the fine gentlemen on this forum you won't go wrong for buying the right parts and you'll probably get a buzz from doing some mods yourself. There's a good chance that another forum member (or several) will live near you and would help out, especially with regards to using vagcom to recode parts.
Of course using an expert will likely be faster (but more expensive) and gives you the comfort of knowing someone knows what they're doing. Have you done much work on previous cars?

I have a Concert double din unit already, I picked up a 2009 RNS-E and am just waiting for it to get delivered. Am happy to pull stuff apart but my preference would be to get everything fitted and vagcom coded at the same time - only because I dont know much about vagcom.

In terms of sourcing, I found someone selling the CC bits on ebay:
Audi A4 (8E) A6 (4F) - Retrofit Cruise Control & Trim on eBay (end time 13-Nov-10 17:36:59 GMT)

But any guidance would be appreciated.
