REMOVAL OF LEATHER GAITER FROM 2007 S-LINE

Has any one got any Idea how to remove the leather gearstick gaiter from my A4 2007 S-Line, I would like it re-stitched with silver stitching to match my new S4 Steering Wheel, a bit anal I know but I think it would look nicer matching the silver stitching on the wheel. Any one post a link on how to, Thanks in advance chaps.

pull the whole plastic trim arround the gaiter its held on by four clips one in each corner not sure how the gaiter removes from the plastic trim but should be fairly easy i found it easy to open the ashtray and pull the trim from the front then ease ur fingers under it then
