I currently own a Audi A4 B6 TDI 130 Sport '04 plate. Its had a remap, S4 wheels, H&R Coilovers. I'm looking to get a B7 2.0T FSI (200 or 220HP)
Coming from the diesel will have an obvious effect on the wallet, but from what I can see not a huge amount but none the less it will be a difference.
I was looking at the 2.0 TDI 140 and 170 models but have been talked out of it by lots of people, with horror storys about engine sensors, cracked heads and turbos etc.. They dont seem as reliable as the PD130s.. So thats why I'm looking at the switch back to petrol. I was considering moving to an S4 but I'd only be able to afford the B6 and i'm lusting for the B7 shape
I'm used to a fuel MPG return of 45-48mpg around town. My question is what are the issues or faults that I need to look out for.
My budget is around £10k which seems to get me a nice spec 05/06 plate with full S-line leathers/sports bodykit etc..
