2009 A4 daytime lights - what bulbs ?

I want to change the bulbs in the daytime lights on my car as they are very dim - id prefer brighter white/blue bulbs

is this possible ? what bulbs are they ?

Hi,

In the same boat as yourself, I want to put LED bulbs in to my DRL. However due to the amount of current an LED draws the bulb blown warning appears in the drivers display. To get round this you need to add a load resistor across the bulb which involves 'playing' with the wiring and like yours the car is still under warranty, doh. The standard bulbs are 581's single filament 21W bulbs.
