According to Audi, the noisy engine on cold startup is due to an injector minor issue. The car is under the 1 year warranty, having only just picked it up from a dealership in the South, so that's not an issue.
However, my father has asked me to ask the knowledge banks on here if this is a known problem?
His description is louder on idle, slight knocking noise from the engine at low revs, but no miss-fire or power delivery problems...?
Any ideas chaps?
