Fitting a new rocker cover gasket . Do I use sealant as well?

I've found my rocker cover gasket is slightly leaking from one corner so have bought a replacment. Is if just a case of cleaning the surface and fitting the new on or is it best to smear some sealant on the faces to help thing along . I know I used to along time ago but wasn't sure about the new stuff.

No you shouldn't need to, new gasket new seal should be fine.

Ok fitted the new rocker gasket . Haven't got a torque wrench so do I do the bolts up pretty tight ?
