Variable or Fixed?

Apologies if this has been asked before but for someone who only does around 8~9k per year what is the best way to get a 2.0TDi car serviced (variable or fixed)? Does any one of the schedules offer better value for money or indeed better protection for the car than the other?

fixed, yearly is what i would do for longevity of the car

I'm set on variable, but change the oil every 6 months.

I would go for fixed also

I only go fixed now, as I do the servicing myself. If you are only doing that annual mileage, fixed is definitely for you.

Audi Teesside advised me to change to fixed ( as did my independant ) so fixed intervals is what we now run at.
We average less than 10,000 per annum.
