Key Fob battery replaced and still doesnt work

Hi all

I replaced my battery in the key fob the other day and its now showing a red led when pressed but doesnt open the doors.


Currently i'm using the spare keyfob.

I have tired to re-program the key using different methods on the net but failed each time

Can anyone give me any help please ?

The car is a Audi A4 TDI s-line 2006

Try, opening the doors manually, shoving the key in the ignition and turning it to point II (one before starting the engine). Leave it there for about 10 seconds. Turn ignition off, pull out key, close door, try it. If that fails, lock it manually, unlock and follow the instructions again.

Seems to work the second time on mine.

Details should be in your manual mate.
 
Thanks for the help all, still no luck

I did follow the manual on page 61 but still no joy 8(
