So who's got it?
Which cable do you have, was it purchased from VAG-COM or somewhere else?
Has anyone built there own either from scratch or from a kit?

I'm tempted to get it from SK Pang but which cable should I go for? I have a 2001 1.8T would I be better getting one that does dual K lines for future proofing or is that just a waste of money?

I have the Hex-Com USB. I really like it, and it's paid for itself at least twice over, so it's totally worth it. I got it from the Ross-Tech website. Anyway, just thought I'd answer you question.
