I have download a version of VAG-COM from http://www.ross-tech.com to try.

I now need the cable to use it. I think I'm right in thinking it is an OBD2 cable.

Can anyone recommend where to get these cable, and part numbers prices if possible.

Thanks!

the skpang one is about £50 and works very well - even with the latest versions of the software

the software is shareware and most of the functions are available for free anyway - we arent supposed to discuss things like cracked software on the board - but you can download older versions of vagcom from rosstechs web site

i would NOT search on google.com for vagcom keygen, and then i wouldnt find one for version 3.03...

and then you got £99 dollars for the software. As the shareware version is very limited, only shows first fault code and your limited to the first 25 data blocks, which although are quite interesting are not the main ones used. (well not by me anyway)
