ECU RE-MAPPING

I wont to know if its possible to change ecu/black boxes over, as i have a audi a4 1.8 t sport which has been re-mapped to 190bhp, but i cant afford to insure it unless it is standard 150bhp. Please help. I need a response asap.

Hi Nathan. I think it depends on exactly which model and year you have, even within the year there may be differences.

Might be worth posting your details offering a swap for a suitable non-chipped one.

Let us know your ECU number - VAG-COM will tell you this without removing it from your vehicle.

Then, do a part exchange with someone with the same box and match up your ECU to the car.
