VAG-COM Code 17695 - Whats this then??

Just some info required please..

Just had my s3 plugged into VAG-COM and its giving me a 17695 - N249 - Turbo Bypass Valve open.

Is this the DV?? or something else more sinister

N249 is the valve that controls the DV,

Its the valve that sits under the engine cover ontop of cylinders 3&4.

could be DV or valve related.

Just did a search and noticed you replied to more or less the same question a couple of weeks back!!! I bet you get sick of repeating yourself...

Had a look this morning under the engine cover... the plug that goes into the valve was hanging off....nice easy quick fix, just the way i like them.
