Thread: s3 8l 2001 aircon leak

My brother is an ac engineer and he carried out a leak test on my ac. there is a howler of a leak which is situated behind the rigid heat insulation between the turbo and the main bulkhead.

I dont actually know where the leak is coming from. I just want to establish whether there are any components in this area that leak. Access is very limited and at best i would imagine the boost pipe etc would need removing.

Any advice would be much apreciated.

You may have more luck in the 8L section (if you haven't tried already) as I don't know anything about them.
