Thread: Air con cleaning help

Hi peeps,

My air con smells like cat wee when in use and the pollen filter housing also smells. I've read the threads already posted and gone out and bought some comma air-con cleaner and a new pollen filter. Would it be best for me to clean the pollen filter housing and change the pollen filter before using the comma spray or vice versa? Also should i just set the air-con to re-circulate on full cold (lo) setting or use the econ setting? Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

TBH I'd clean out the housing and put the new filter in and try it like that first to see if it makes any difference. If it does, save the comma for another time, if not, use it.
If you do use it, I kept the econ off, this worked a treat on mine.
