Thread: A/C compressor price?

I have to replace my compressor for my 2004 A4 Avant 1.9 PD TDI.

Anyone know what is a fair price for one of these units?

The A/C system did smell like cat pi$$ before the compressor failed don't think that was root cause of failure.

No idea on price to be honest. A specialist should be able to source one cheap though.

It probably needed a service, which will be done when the compressor is fitted anyway.
