Ideal settings for aircon/econ all year around

What are the ideal settings for aircon/econ?


I read kn here that aircon needs to be turned on once a month for 10minutes this sounds ok
I drive my car around 10 miles a day atm its al turned off

What should i leave it on all year around?
 
Dont use the auto button much atm btw
 
I have mine set at 20°C with auto on.
 
Does that mean u have aircon on or econ?
 
"Auto" on is running the air-conditioning. I also leave the auto-recirculation on, but not all cars have this fitted.
 
The Audi manual for the B7 models says its best to leave it set to Auto and at 22 C for all year use.
in summer one is supposed to open the windows of the car to let the heat out AND THEN after some time close the windows before putting the A/C back on Auto.
