:think:When my climate control is set to low it closes of the outside air recirculate flap ?
when i noticed this last night it would open again if i pressed econ button , or turned temp upto 20 c ,
my climate has had a musty smell when i first start it for a while now ,
Even though its had a audi aircon service last yr and ive put a couple of treatments through it my self ,New Pollen filter
So the question is how if poss can i tell the HVAC unit to stop doing it ?
i have VCDS FulL hex Can Cable and in measuring blocks it was the hvac unit telling it to open close , so im thinking it may just need coding ?
any help much appreciated
Its A B6 A4 2.5 V6 QS

I'm not sure you can. I don't think my car does this but I'll give it a try. It makes sense though. Closing the re-circ flap means that the air going through the evaporator has already been cooled and will just get colder and colder until it reaches its lowest point. This point would be lower than if the air way taken from the outside.
