A8 4.2 TDI my08 suspension mod?

My father is a bit mad about his new A8 4.2TDI. Suspension is far too soft, befor he had A8 4.2 2003 and suspension was much better.
Do any of you have tryied these:

Well the diesel V8 is about 150-175kg heavier than the petrol V8 and its all over the front wheels which is bound to affect the handling a lot.

Alternatively was the petrol V8 car equipped with Adaptive Air Suspension Sport and the diesel one with the regular Adaptive Air Suspension?

This will lower the car but your dampers will still be the same soft feel.
