Hi guys
Can anyone point me in the direction of technical specifications and data for the S8 4.2, 1998-03 model. Would really like dimensions too.
Also, someone told me that Audi didn't change the bulkhead plan, is this true ?
Just thinking about putting the 4.2 in something else

Without a bit more detail, you'll be hard pressed to get any advice here.
The early S8's were 1995 - 1999, then 1999 - 2003.
Early were 32V, later were 40V.
I have a 1998 S8 motor (AKH) complete, ready to go into my B5 A4 quattro, so I can take measurements - width and length.
You mention firewall plan, but don't mention what car you're referring to.
What car do you intend to install the S8 engine into??
