2006 a8 3.0tdi co2 road tax

could anybody confirm the co2 output from a 2006 a8 3.0tdi my logbook says 231 which means £400 per year but the a8 brochure states 224??? do the 2006 models have higher co2 outputs than 2007/08 model ??? thanks in advance.

I believe that your logbook is correct and something has been done so the CO2 has come down for 2008.
