A8 4.0 TDI Service Indicator

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what button combination on the A8 tells you how long it has to go before a service. My S6 is something like ignition on and press a button, but when I pick up my new car next week , the guy says it has been serviced but I want to check to see if the internals have been reset.

There is no such function in the A8

Really? so how can you tell when it needs a service.. it just pops up and tells you?
Or does that just mean its not on a variable service plan, its just fixed at certain intervals?

Yes it gives you a warning prior to requiring a service

I had a 600 mile warning recently, about 18 months after last service. Service is on the indicator or every two years, whichever is sooner.
