Hi - New to all this so please be patient
I have a 2000 S8. Over the last few months car has had problems starting, but only when warm. By this i mean i can go to work approx 60 mile and come back in the evening and not have a problem but stop on the way and it refuses to restart.
The engine will turn, then it will try to fire and die, then when it does start it will rev and idle between 1200 - 2000 rpm and if you put it in gear whilst it is doing this the revs drop right out and it sometimes stalls.
I have a problem as the car was recovered and some of the electrics were cut out. I have rteplaced the majority but cannot get the plug in diognostic to work.
I have replaced the airflow meter, lanbda probes, fuel filters and air filter so have ruled these out.
