    s8 wiper mechanism broke

    Hi audi people first time on forum and have a problem with the s8 wiper mechanism - it broke the other night and had to use the wipers manualy from the door window in the rain to get home! After further investigation noticed that the ball joint type bearing that conects the motor arm to the wiper arms has come apart. Audi have quoted 370 plus to buy were they sell the motor with the kit. Is this the case or can someone please point me in the right direction to finding a cheaper alternative.
