Hi All,

I finally bought one!!! A 2000 A8 4.2 Quattro Sport, lovely!!!!

Haven't picked it up yet, but pick the lovely beast up on Thursday.

Does anyone know of anyone who is reasonable with their insurance????? Everyone I seem to be checking with now, seems to have inflated their prices since about 3 months ago /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burningmad.gif

Sorry I can't help you with the insurance, as I'm not in the UK. I know they're expensive though... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Have you tried some online calculations to see what they offer?

Hi all, thanks for the replies. Sorry for the late response.

I eventually went with elephant.co.uk

My current insurers(Tesco) were asking nearly £800, so thought I'd shop till I dropped!!!!
Quotes ranged from £770 upto around £1200

Sorry for the delay fellas.

The car is fantastic!!! It's de-badged, and people really don't know what it is. So the surprise on their faces is superb. All the local boy-racers, are talking about it (I heard through the grapevine, some lad called it a 'bad-*** Audi' Oh how little he knows!!!)

REALLY REALLY enjoying driving it, still getting used to it.
