About LinkBacksi might be able to pick up a '98 a8 2.8 fairly cheaply. the cars a runner, no mechanical faults so im wondering are they worth anything in bits?? any common parts people are usually after?

its seems this car has a leaking heater matrix and the guys been quoted big bucks to replace. i take its a dash out job? anyone ever done one?
Not sure about replacing the heater matrix but you should sell alot of the parts as people still keep these cars running. It also depends on what options you have on the car, that can be retrofitted into others.
