Schizo Rain Sensors

Hi All,

Is there anything you can do about having Rain sensors with a mind of their own?
Sometimes they seem to work ok, but others, it only has to rain a small amount and the wipers are on full blast.

Not sure if theres any sort of cleaning or checking I can do, or whether it just needs a new sensor?
