Help with handbrake fault codes

Hi all,

Merry Christmas and all that! Hoping some can assist here on a C6 2006 S-Line Avant 2.0tdi. Handbrake malfunction light is on and no life at all in it. Motors operate when requested by vagcom, so it's either the module or a wiring issue....here's the relevant screen grab;
