how to fit rain sensor gel pack

hi i have a 2006 a6 that has had the windscreen changed some time in the past and the rain sensor has not been fitted correctly. The wipers wont work on auto i have got a replacement gel pack dose anybody know how to fit the gel pack to the sensor
