Audi a6 2.0 tdi PD 2006 remaping

i am planning on getting my car remapped but unsure what to get done so that i can keep my mpg? but also have increase hp?

Another thing is i think my mpg is low what reasons could cause this? i know driving the car hard will but i mean technical problems.

Hi Damien,

A good remap should give you better economy when not using the power, as well as more power with your foot to the floor. Of course if you drive the car hard then your Economy will drop.

As for poor economy, it could be a million and one things! Things like air leaks, cam timing, faulty injectors, worn cams - the list goes on!

I recently remapped a 2.5 A6 TDI and the results were amazing. Power delivery was fantastic and very smooth. The customers MPG rose quite dramatically as he was doing nearly 150 mile daily round trip to and from work. Do your homework on which company you use and you wont be disappointed.

I recommend premier tuning excellant reputation Fahad the guy who owns & runs it is very knowledgable & friendly . The good thing is Fahad isnt just int in your money but will remap within the limits of your vehicle some remapping companies promise all kinds of things then leave you high & dry if things go wrong
