2006 A6 2.4 Avant Quattro - Slow Speed Tyre Noise when turning

Hi,

New to this forum and Audi and was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on this problem. I've had the car for a couple of months now and get what sounds like a tyre scuffing noised when turning the steering at slow speeds. I've read else where about Quattro Crabbing but am none the wiser. Car is on standard 18" SLINE wheels with 235x40xR18 tyres.

Check the tire pressures then set all tires to the door plate..eventually you can drop a few lbs of pressure if it's too high..but only 2 or three lbs. My personal thing, never let anyone but me check my tires, tire monkeys don't care..or is it tyres ..too important on a car like the A6.
BTW.. it's my first message, thought I see how you brits deal with the wonderful C6.
