High Mileage A6 2.5 TDI ?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting a high mileage A6 2.5 tdi Avant as a winter "hack" and load lugger for my house extension.

I currently have an RS6 so I know of the fragile gearboxes, but wondered how the auto in the 2.5 tdi fared? Also, how are the 2.5 v6 engines?

What sort of mileage and price are you looking at?

Is it the 163 or the 180bhp you're after, what about age?

Generally, if well maintained, that's a good start....
