Has anyone retrofitted a set of parking sensors to a 55-plate A6? A mate of mine wants them done and I wanted to see if there was a how-to on here or any advice someone could offer me. I'm assuming the whole bumper needs to be removed?

Hi I think he's more after a standard set you can get on ebay rather than something that will work with the vehicle electronic. Something along the lines of linked to the reverse light with a normal buzzer unit.

I fitted an ebay kit with buzzer to my 55 plate A6 about 3 years ago. I colour coded them first and it took about 3 hours including the painting. I think all in it cost me £40!
They have never let me down and for the money you cannot go wrong. They look just like oe items.
