Doors locking and unlocking whilst driving!?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2000 Audi A6 Avant. The last couple of days I have been opening the car as normal and the all the windows have come down. The main problem then being that as Im driving along the doors are locking and unlocking themselves also making the interior lights flash.

Heres hoping this is a common problem you guys know about that I can fix myself.

I'm guessing here, but it sounds like a problem with the convenience module which operates door/windows etc - they're normally located under the front passenger seat (in the A4 anyway). Do you know anyone with the Vagcom computer program whoo can scan the car and see what faults show up?

i had exactly the same problem turned out to be the front door lock assembly cost was about £130 no problems since
