Nav disk location

Hi, I have a 59 plate A6 avant with a CD changer and MMI unit in the glovebox. Is the Nav disc in the MMI unit or is there another unit in the boot?

Your car will have the MMI 3G system. The Nav DVD will be in the unit in your glovebox. It will have 2 x SD card slots on it

It does indeed have 2sd slots, but the top of the main nav wheel is flat which makes it 2G. Is that right?

No you have a MMI 3G system, but it is DVD based and not like the HDD version that you would get in the RS6 for example.

So if you wanted to upgrade your Nav DVD you would need one that looks like this
