Brake pad wear lights

Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me if the rear pads are worn will the warning light go on the dis? I cant see any wires on pads, is there another method of activating the warning lights for rear?

Hi there, only the front pads are connected to the dash display. The rears are not. A pathetic bean-counter job if you ask me.

I know this as I recently had to have new rear discs as one had started to grate as it wore down. I thought it was a bit of grit to start with as I was expecting the light to come on.

So that cost me!
