Ive just purchased a 2000 Allroad 2.5tdi Manual.
What is the best way to test the air suspension set up as mine seems a bit bouncy on the back end, is this normal?
Also ive heard the system is very prone to failure and expensive to fix.

i would like to know this too as a guy from work has got a very bouncy allroad? free bump anyway!

If you have the tdi, odds are that it's been used to tow something heavy fairly frequently. Likelihood is that the rear shocks are more worn than the front. I believe there is a guide, either on here or audi driver or allroadfaq.com, that shows you how to replace the shocks. The expensive part is if you have a system failure or need a new air bladder. Anyway, the real expensive suspension is the RS6 DRC!!!!
